S&S Tire - In Your Community!

Toys For Tots was a HUGE Success!

S&S Tire joined forces with the U.S. Marine Corps for their annual Toys For Tots drive again in 2011.

Overall 56,000 toys were donated and went to children in 17 counties in the Bluegrass, twice as many kids received toys this year!

Thank you to everyone who participated and donated a toy this year to Toys For Tots. It was a HUGE Success!

Caps4aCause is a quick and easy way to give back to a charity that you choose!  These colorful valve stem caps support the charity that you choose while raising awareness one mile at a time.  With a portion of the proceeds going directly to the charity, not only do you have the chance to support a great cause, but also continue to raise awareness daily as you drive down the road.  "Caps4aCause" provides the opportunity to make something so small, impact so many, and truly put your "Charity in Motion!"

“We are incredibly grateful to S&S for giving us the opportunity to help one another with donations of time, blood and money,” said William S. Reed, KBC President and CEO.

Congratulations to the winning charities in the S&S Tire $15,000 Charity Challenge!

See the final standings below. In May, participating charities were awarded points for Kentucky Blood Center blood donations made in the name of the charity. The top two charities from each region win cash from S&S Tire – $3,500 for first place and $1,500 for second place. There was a tie for second place in the Lexington region and both charities will receive $1,500.

Thanks to all the donors and charities who participated in the Charity Challenge again this year.
